Your Daily Agenda in your Gmail Inbox to kick off your Day

How do you start your day? I usually like to start with an overview of my meetings and tasks for the day. Did you know that you can get your daily agenda in your Gmail inbox? After enabling the feature, Google Calendar sends you an email with your agenda at 5 a.m. every single day of the week.

In this tutorial you’ll learn step-by-step how you get your daily agenda in your Gmail inbox to kick of your day. If you’re pressed for time just go ahead and watch the tutorial video where I walk you through the process.

Change Settings to get your Daily Agenda in your Gmail Inbox

Although we will be receiving our daily agenda in our Gmail inbox we have to set this up in Google Calendar. So the first step is to access your Google Calendar in your internet browser.

Once your Google Calendar has loaded click on the Gear icon. In the dropdown menu that appears you click on Settings.

The settings interface loads and you’ll want to click on your calendar name under Settings for my calendars. In our tutorial we’re clicking on Jane Example since it’s her calendar we’re in.

The final step is that you choose Email from the dropdown menu under Daily agenda. Since Google Calendar saves your update automatically all that’s left to do is click on the arrow on the top left to leave your calendar settings.

Activate daily agenda

From now on you’ll get a daily agenda in your Gmail inbox. The sender will be Google Calendar and you’ll receive the email at 5 a.m. every single day.
